Performance Tuning.

Racingline OEM+ Performance Software is simply the most effective modification you can make to a modern turbocharged engine. 

​Depedant on which engine type, RacingLine offers separate stages of performance from Stage 1 to Stage 3 - plus Stage 1+ for the later GPF-equipped cars.

And remember, it's only with OEM+ that you get FREE upgrades up to the next stage whenever you're ready to continue on your tuning journey.

Technical Centres.

Some people ask why we only supply OEM+ through dealers, rather than choosing a 'flash at home' option. It's because to properly access a car's ECU programming is a complex and technical task.

We believe in doing the job correctly, especially for such a technical upgrade. We've chosen our global network of OEM+ Technical Centres to verify the health of your car prior to flashing, to ensure that the programming has been correctly installed and finally to verify the successful performance after install. And, to be there for you should you have any concerns post-purchase.

High Torque vs Lower Torque.
Which is right for you?

As you can see above, we offer this calibration in High Torque and Lower Torque configurations. Both maps reach the same peak power, but the Lower Torque option has torque limited to 480Nm in lower-mid range to protect your clutches (if TCU not installed). So which is the right choice for you?

Firstly, the High Torque calibration needs to be run with a TCU DSG tune to get the best from it. If TCU is currently not available for your car (see below) we recommend the Lower Torque calibration. Of course, you can upgrade to the High Torque for free in future if you purchase TCU when it becomes available for your car.

We also recommend the Lower Torque calibration for FWD cars. As the power and torque delivery is more linear than the High Torque map, it helps to maintain traction and ultimately makes the car more drivable.

Finally, for 6MT manual transmission cars, the Lower Torque calibration will protect the stock factory clutch - a known weak point in these cars running high power. Then you can upgrade to High Output for free in future if you fit a stronger aftermarket clutch.

DSG TCU Dynamic Tuning by RacingLine OEM+

TCU calibrations for the DSG gearbox are still in development phase for certain EA888.4 applications. 2022 cars cannot yet have TCU installed, whilst 2021 cars have some gearbox codes ready to flash immediately and others are in development. Your RacingLine Software installer can advise you on availability.

 If TCU Calibration is available for your car, it is certainly recommended - and essential if you are choosing the High Torque ECU Stage 1.

If no TCU Calibration is available for your car currently, we recommend our Lower Torque ECU calibrationRemember, with our Free of Charge upgrades for life, you can always buy TCU in future, then upgrade to the High Torque calibration for free.

By adding TCU alongside your ECU, the engine's torque output is increased quite significantly versus a car with ECU tuning only.

Our well-proven TCU tuning will not only handle the power gain with higher clutch pressures, it also reprograms the shift characteristics to give a much more natural and enjoyable drive

The RacingLine OEM+ TCU Dynamic Software & Tuning is an essential upgrade to get the most out of any modified DSG or S-tronic car.

 Several years of road and track development have given us the smartest transmission software on the market: by continually feeding the engine ECU’s torque demands through to the gearbox’s controller, the system dynamically calculates and adjusts the DSG’s variable clutch pressures to suit whatever your power output is. 

Meaning that just one RacingLine TCU software upgrade will serve your car from standard, through Stage 1, right up to Stage 3 and beyond. So unlike some, there's no need for a new TCU calibration each time you increase your car’s performance.

What does TCU
DSG tuning do?

Our engineers reprogram the gearbox's calibration inside the TCU (Transmission Control Unit). This allows the transmission to maintain higher torque levels through our dynamic clutch pressure strategy, right up to a mighty 19 bar pressure. The result? Shifts are even faster, giving harder acceleration through the gears, whatever level of performance your car has - up to and beyond Stage 3. 

Meanwhile, the driving mode strategy itself is optimised to suit higher power levels, giving a more natural gear selection profile. Flick the car over to manual, and at last you'll have true gear control at your fingertips - no auto-upshift*, no kick down until you command it (or drop back to D/S modes).

Not only that, launch control will get you off the line quicker through allowing more boost at launch and increased launch RPM, combined with a less intrusive traction control in launch mode.

All tunes are tuned by us at Projex Euromotive, making a purchase of this tune gives you access to all stages for 1-3 depending on application (what stage for you will be determined on appointment day).
